With the release of her film The Lorax and scooping a Grammy last month, Taylor Swift has had a busy 2012 so far.
So the country star certainly seemed to be making the most of a trip to Australia as she was spotted spending a day at the beach.
The 22-year-old splashed around in the surf with friends on Cottesloe beach in Perth, Australia.

Taylor resembled a 1950s Barbie doll in her black and white halterneck bikini, which she teamed with a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses and swept her hair into a sweet ponytail.
The singer showed off her trim figure as she soaked up the sun and then cooled off with a quick dip in the ocean.
When it was time to head home the star covered up with a flirty striped sundress and gathered her belongings into a large green bag.

However it hasn’t all been fun in the sun for Taylor.
She is in Perth as part of her tour and performed a concert for her fans later in the day.
She seemed in great spirits as she enjoyed the sunshine and it seems the reason for her good mood may be a new love in her life.

But according to reports she may be dating quarterback Tim Tebow.
According to Radar Online, Taylor and Tim were spotted getting 'cosy' at a pre-Oscar party.

Flirty: Taylor slipped on a sundress when it was time to head home

'They were together for almost an hour,' an insider said. 'She approached Tim and he looked more than happy to be talking with her.'
Another outlet reports that Tim, 24, and Taylor, 22, had dinner together on Monday in Century City.
'After dinner, he walked her out, and then he walked back in to join two other people,' an eyewitness said.
